Notes of Destiny 21
(Caught)

The Pirates charged the little boat,
Vengeance in their wake.
The Prince Fortinato and Windy Bog,
Were their prized booty to take.
Windy played her whistleknife,
While Fort steered their wooden skiff.
Soon a smell came upon them both,
That made them gag when they sniffed.

As the large pirated ship gained watery ground,
Fort and Windy realized it began to be found,
That the air had turned into a mustard-y haze,
And nothing could be seen no matter how hard the gaze.

Then they were raised up
From out of their boat,
Invisible hands carrying them
To the pirates of Death Throat.

The man meeting them on deck
And working the strange musicless magic,
Was an infamous Dark-Skinned pirate,
Simply known as “Tragic.”

Tragic wore a top hat,
Unlike all of his crew,
And he had necklaces and charms of bone,
And he was one of only two-
Of Death Throat’s men that Death Throat considered,
His brothers of blood and gold.
And his gray handlebar mustache told them,
He was very old.

Windy and Fort tried to scream,
But their vocal chords remained bewitched,
As long as Tragic stared silently at them,
With little more than a twitch.
