Amanda sat by the com device.
She knew he’d call any second.
But her bored and tired demeanor
Showed it was taking longer than she reckoned.
Finally the ringtone sounded
And she answered it lightning fast.

Amanda: “This is Amanda.” She announced with a smile

Voice: “Thank goodness I reached you at last!
Our mainframe was upgraded recently to industry museum standards.
But being way out on the outer rim,
It’s hard to get support and and answers.
We hear that you can downgrade us,
Back to what we had before.”

Amanda beamed. This job would pay!
Amanda: “My crew should be there in four.”
