Notes of Destiny 31
(Prison Break)

Once again Fortinato’s life,
Had spiraled into despair.
He shrunk in the cell of this moldy sea dungeon,
Just trying to keep breathing air.
He thought of Windy and what would happen,
To a pretty girl like her.
And he cried for the thought of never knowing
What happened to his parents for sure.
But then the constant dripping,
Which was so far the only sound,
Was interrupted by something being thrown
Through his window and to the ground.

It was nothing but a rock.
But he looked at the window to see,
The old woman who had tried to buy him,
Grinning happily.

Woman: “We are getting you out!” She said,
As she merrily went to work.
“I drugged the guard and I’m melting the bars!”
So stand back you silly jerk!”

Fort did just as the woman said.
And she threw something from a glass vial
It hissed and sizzled on contact with the bars.
And it smelled like something vile.

Soon the bars were kicked away,
And the limber woman climbed in.
And all at once Fort realized who she was.
Her disguise had worn quite thin.

Fort: “Lolly.” He said with a note of disgust.
“You verminous rat of the sea.”

Lolly: “Nice to see you too, Fort.
You are coming with me.”
