GOA38 – Slow Down And Think
Guardians Of Atlanta 38
(Slow Down And Think)
Following the argument with Cyrus Jones,
Bobby Carter met with Jemima alone.
The two found a place in the nearby woods
where they could talk privately, and be understood.
Jemima: โSheโs working very hard to find out
whatโs going on here and what this is all about.โ
Bobby: โShe works hard, but doesnโt ask the right things.
Eventually sheโd wear out from all the carnival brings.โ
Jemima: โGood thing weโre here then, to show her the way.โ
Bobby: โI am concerned about her being in the fray.
What if she doesnโt have the power of storms?โ
Jemima: โShe does, Bobby. Ever since she was born.โ
Bobby: โWhatever, as long as she takes her cues, and doesnโt blink,
sheโll be fine. Now letโs just slow down and think.โ
Sometimes things arenโt clear.
Sometimes things are clouded by fear.
Just slow down and think it through.
Take your cues and change your view.
Cyrus walked around the carnival and thought.
Was she at the end of her rope?
She stopped and prayed and asked God for help.โจHe would not let her lose hope.
But then from the center of the carnival, she heard
the sound of James Riggerโs voice and the crowd being stirred.
She ran to the sight to see what was going on.
But it was hard to get through the gathering throng.
Sometimes things arenโt clear.
Sometimes things are clouded by fear.
Just slow down and think it through.
Take your cues and change your view.
