Serena wakes up with newly formed legs. She is shocked and amazed that her lower half is no longer covered in scales or fins. However, as she touches the bottom of her feet, she experiences intense pain, realizing the witch’s warning about a needle sensation was true. Just then, Prince Silas and his guards approach her, and he expresses concern for her well-being. Serena tries to speak but finds her mouth unable to comply, and Prince Silas notices blood inside her mouth. Believing she was attacked by pirates and left to die, the prince vows to provide whatever she needs. They transport Serena to the prince’s palace on a different kind of horse than she’s used to, and Serena is filled with joy at her newfound freedom.
