Notes of Destiny 35
(Tea Time)

The strange woman that had saved Windy,
Took her back to a house.
On the outside it appeared uninhabitable,
Even for a simple mouse.
But on the inside, It was a work of art.
With tapestries adorning the walls.
And as they sat down at an ornate tea table,
Windy gushed forth the questions she pondered most of all.

Windy: “What is your name? What is this place?
Will you help me save my friend?”

Woman: “My name is Quill, this is my home,
All will be well in the end.”

The woman poured a piping hot tea,
From a kettle most bizarre.
It had many shifting bells and whistles,
Gears, shapes, and stars.

Quill: “For now, drink and refresh yourself.
We will take action in due time.
Relax and enjoy, Windy Bog.
Let your mind unwind.
Tell me more about yourself.”

Windy did not hold back.
Whatever the kind masked woman Quill asked,
Windy supplied what she lacked.
Windy greedily gulped the semi-sweet tea,
As she related all their tales.

Quill: “It seems you both have had it rough.
As rough as dragon’s scales.
But I promise I will free you both,
And send you off to Ka’Lanner.
Hopefully by the next full moon,
You will see her banners.”
